Application:
3681A059 is the molded rubber valve-cover seal for Perkins 1104D-E44, 1106C-E66/70 and 1106D-E66/70 engines; it is therefore fitted to LiuGong CLG835/842/856 wheel loaders, 906/908/920/925 excavators, FG Wilson P88-200 kVA generator sets, JCB 531-70 tele-handlers and MF 4300-series tractors that share the same cylinder-head geometry.
Technical specifications:
One-piece nitrile-beaded profile, 2.8 mm crown thickness, 65 Shore-A hardness; steel spacer rings are vulcanised into the bolt holes to maintain 0.9-1.1 mm compression and prevent over-torque creep. Operating range −30 °C to 130 °C in 15W-40 oil mist, withstands 0.5 bar crank-case pulse and 24 h salt-spray without loss of elasticity.
Material & performance features:
FKM/nitrile blend is asbestos-free and bonded to a para-aramid carrier for 25 % tear strength vs. cork substitutes; mould-cavity finish gives Ra 3.2 µm on both faces to micro-seal cast-iron and aluminium covers without additional sealant. Compression set <15 % after 70 h at 125 °C, providing >8 000 h leak-free life in 24/7 generator duty before re-torque is required.
