Product Overview:
The Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is designed for circuits up to 660V AC and can perform load transfers. It is available in current ratings of 40A, 63A, 80A, 125A, 160A, 250A, 400A, 630A, 800A, 1000A, 1250A, 1600A, and 2000A, in both 3-pole and 4-pole versions. Products rated 40–125A are marked as type "N"; those from 160–400A are designated "T"; and models rated 630–2000A are identified as "M".
The SGQ Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) operates within AC 660V 50/60Hz or DC 250V systems, using an electromagnetic drive and meeting two-stage PC-class requirements. It enables fast load switching (transfer time ≤80ms) between two power inputs. This ATS is suitable for a wide range of applications including high-rise buildings, post and telecommunication networks, coal mines, marine vessels, industrial complexes, medical institutions, military sites, and other critical installations. It accepts dual power inputs such as the utility grid, auto-start generators, battery systems, among others.
Structure and Characteristics:
The SGQ ATS incorporates an electromagnetic drive with combined electrical and mechanical interlocking. The main contact terminal consists of one moving and two fixed contacts, with the moving contact designed in a "V" shape to avoid short circuits between the two power sources. Type "N" and "T" adopt a dual-coil design, whereas type "M" uses a single-coil drive. The coil is powered only during transfer events, greatly prolonging the switch’s operational life. Control power is taken from the preferred AC or DC supply, removing the need for an additional control power source. The switch features self-contained electrical and mechanical position indicators and supplies two normally open/normally closed dry auxiliary contacts.
