This intake valve seat insert is specifically designed for turbocharged diesel applications where high combustion temperatures and pressures demand superior wear resistance. Each six-cylinder engine requires 6 intake valve seat inserts. The material receives vacuum heat treatment to achieve minimum 45 HRC hardness throughout the entire cross-section, maintaining structural integrity at operating temperatures exceeding 600°C.
