Application:
1881094C92 is the Injection Pressure Regulator (IPR) valve fitted to International / Navistar MaxxForce DT, 9 and 10 engines (2010-2015). It meters high-pressure oil to the HEUI injectors in DT466, DT570, HT570 and N9 / N10 on-highway and vocational chassis such as International ProStar, TranStar, WorkStar, DuraStar and IC CE / RE school buses.
Technical specifications:
The valve is a normally-closed, pulse-width-modulated solenoid rated 12 V, 2.2 A, 1.8 Ω coil @ 20 °C. It controls 3.4 – 24 MPa (500 – 3 500 psi) oil pressure with a 1 000 Hz PWM signal, 7 % – 67 % duty-cycle. Body is forged 6061-T6 aluminium with MIL-A-8625 hard-anodise, Viton main seal and 120-mesh stainless inlet screen.
Material & performance features:
The armature and poppet are nitrided 440C stainless to resist galling in aerated 15W-40 oil; internal spring is Cr-Si music wire preset for 0.2 % load loss at 1 million cycles. Integrated 0.1 mm pilot orifice gives ±2 % pressure repeatability, eliminating injector misfire and P0091 / P1211 DTCs.
