Application:
3028666 is the 12 V electric gear-type fuel lift pump that primes and feeds Perkins 1104C-44T and 1104D-44T turbo-diesel engines (4.4 L, 4-cylinder) installed in Massey Ferguson 6400-, 7400- and 8200-series tractors, Landini Legend and Rex 5 orchard tractors, JCB 437 and 540-140 telehandlers, plus FG Wilson P33-6 and Pramac GSW120P enclosed generator sets. It bolts to the cylinder-block rear left and delivers fuel to the high-pressure injection pump at engine speeds from idle to rated 2 200 r/min.
Technical specifications:
The pump body is a die-cast aluminium two-stage gear unit with integral check valves and 8 mm quick-connect inlet/outlet ports. Rated flow is 180 L/h at 350 kPa and 13 V; current draw is 5.5 A at 2 000 r/min. The SAE J744 size 2 flange offers two M8 threaded holes on 50 mm centres and includes an internal bypass calibrated at 400 kPa to protect downstream components. All elastomers are FKM (Viton) for biodiesel compatibility up to B20 and for operation down to −45 °C.

The aluminium housing is powder-coated for salt-spray resistance; precision-hardened steel gears run in a bronze bearing sleeve for quiet, long-life operation and minimal wear. A stainless-steel magnetic strainer cap captures ferrous debris down to 40 µm, while Viton spring-loaded valves prevent back-flow and vapour lock. The encapsulated DC motor is IP67-sealed against dust and moisture, and an automatic thermal cut-off resets at 120 °C. Lightweight, vibration-free and maintenance-free sealed bearings make the unit ideal for continuous-duty agricultural, construction and generator applications.
