The 2641A312 rotary distributor pump is purpose-built for Perkins 1103C-33T and 1104C-44T mechanical-injection turbo-diesel engines (3.3 L and 4.4 L) that drive Massey Ferguson 3400-series and 5400-series tractors, Landini Rex 4-100/110 and Powerfarm 105/115 models, JCB 3CX backhoe loaders and 530-70 Loadall telescopic handlers, as well as FG Wilson P18-6 and Pramac GSW65P enclosed generator sets. These engines deliver 60–85 kW at 2 200 r/min while meeting EU Stage II and EPA Tier 2 emission limits, so the pump provides accurate fuel metering for high-torque rise, smoke-free acceleration and dependable cold-start performance in agricultural, construction and standby-power sectors.


Technical specifications:

The pump body is a single-piece, close-grain cast-iron monobloc with integral cam ring and distributor head, centre-line mounting flange to SAE J744 size 2, pilot Ø101.6 mm, four M10 threaded holes on 146 mm PCD. Plunger diameter is 10 mm with 9.5 mm stroke, generating injection pressures up to 1 450 bar; an internal positive-displacement vane feed pump supplies 125 L/h at 400 kPa. A hydraulic automatic advance piston provides 7° crank-angle advance from 1 000 to 2 400 r/min. Drive hub accepts 12 mm Woodruff key and is dynamically balanced to ISO 1940 Grade G2.5. Static timing is 11° BTDC ± 1° with ± 3° fine adjustment via eccentric cam ring. All external seals are FKM (Viton) compound for compatibility with biodiesel blends up to B20 and arctic-grade diesel down to −40 °C.


Material & performance features:

Plunger and distributor rotor are machined from vacuum-remelted 18CrNiMo7-6 alloy steel, carburised to 0.9 mm effective case depth and super-finished to 0.15 µm Ra for minimal leakage and exceptional durability under cyclic 1 450 bar loading. Cam-ring lobes are induction-hardened to 60–64 HRC, while roller tappets receive a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating that reduces boundary friction by 30 % and extends fatigue life. A lightweight aluminium governor sleeve with PTFE-impregnated bore eliminates stick-slip and maintains idle stability within 2 % of set speed. High-pressure steel galleries are laser-welded to prevent internal pressure loss, and the electromagnetic fuel-stop solenoid is encapsulated in a glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide housing rated IP67 for dust and moisture protection. An integral viscous torsional vibration damper limits peak twist to <0.12°, protecting both pump and engine gear-train from resonance wear and noise.
