The 2643B319 high-pressure rotary distributor pump is engineered specifically for the electronically governed Perkins 1104D-E44T and 1104D-E44TA engines (4.4 L, 4-cylinder) that drive Massey Ferguson 7720 and 7722 S Dyna-VT tractors, Landini Rex 5-110/120/130 T-V ROW models, JCB 437S wheeled loaders and 540-170 Hi-Viz telehandlers, as well as FG Wilson P44-6 and Pramac GSW150P sound-attenuated generator sets. These engines deliver 110–130 kW at 2 200 r/min while meeting EU Stage IIIA/EPA Tier 3 emission limits, so the pump ensures exact fuel metering for rapid torque rise, smoke-free acceleration and reliable cold-starting in heavy-duty agricultural, construction and standby-power applications.


Technical specifications:

The pump body is a single-piece, close-grain cast-iron monobloc with integral cam ring, distributor head and electronic fuel-stop solenoid boss, centre-line mounting flange to SAE J744 size 2, pilot Ø101.6 mm, four M10 threaded holes on 146 mm PCD. Plunger diameter is 13 mm with 12.5 mm stroke, generating injection pressures up to 1 850 bar; an internal positive-displacement vane feed pump supplies 240 L/h at 650 kPa. A hydraulic automatic advance piston provides 11° crank-angle advance from 800 to 2 400 r/min. Drive hub accepts 15 mm Woodruff key and is dynamically balanced to ISO 1940 Grade G2.5. Static timing is 9° BTDC ± 1° with ± 3° fine adjustment via eccentric cam ring. All external seals are FKM (Viton) compound rated for continuous operation with biodiesel blends up to B20 and ultra-low-sulphur winter diesel down to −45 °C.


Material & performance features:

Plunger and distributor rotor are machined from vacuum-remelted 20MnCr5 alloy steel, carburised to 1.3 mm effective case depth and super-finished to 0.08 µm Ra for minimal leakage and outstanding durability under cyclic 1 850 bar loading. Cam-ring lobes are induction-hardened to 64–68 HRC, while roller tappets receive a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating that reduces boundary friction by 45 % and extends fatigue life. A lightweight aluminium governor sleeve with PTFE-impregnated bore eliminates stick-slip and maintains idle stability within 1 % of set speed. High-pressure steel galleries are laser-welded and cold-rolled to eliminate micro-cracks, and the electronic fuel-stop solenoid is encapsulated in a glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide housing rated IP67 for dust and moisture protection. An integral viscous torsional vibration damper limits peak twist to <0.07°, protecting both pump and engine gear-train from resonance wear and noise.
