Application:
The 131010060 inline high-pressure injection pump is engineered for the mechanical-injection Perkins 1004-4T and 1004-4TW turbo-diesel engines (4.0 L, 4-cylinder) that drive Massey Ferguson 6200-series and 8200-series agricultural tractors, Landini Legend 105/115/130 row-crop tractors, JCB 4CX backhoe loaders and 531-70/541-70 Loadall telescopic handlers, plus FG Wilson P22.5-6 and Pramac GSW85P enclosed generator sets. These engines are rated 74–97 kW at 2 200 r/min and satisfy EU Stage II/EPA Tier 2 emission requirements, so the pump supplies precisely-timed fuel at full-load and transient conditions across farming, construction and standby-power markets.
Technical specifications:
The pump body is a forged-steel, one-piece inline housing with integral camshaft bore Ø40 mm and side-mounted governor, flange-mounted to SAE J744 size 3 with four M12 threaded holes on 152 mm PCD. Plunger diameter is 11 mm with 10 mm stroke, generating maximum injection pressures of 1 650 bar. Each plunger and barrel assembly is machined from vacuum-remelted 18CrNiMo7-6 alloy steel, carburised to 1.0 mm effective case depth and super-finished to 0.15 µm Ra for minimal leakage and exceptional durability under cyclic 1 650 bar loading. Camshaft lobes are induction-hardened to 60–64 HRC while roller tappets receive a tungsten-carbide PVD coating that reduces boundary friction by 30 % and extends fatigue life. A lightweight aluminium governor flyweight carrier with PTFE-impregnated bearings ensures stable idle speed and rapid load response. High-pressure steel fuel galleries are laser-welded to prevent internal pressure loss, and the mechanical overspeed fuel shut-off is housed in a glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide cover rated IP67 for dust and moisture protection. An integral torsional vibration damper limits peak twist to <0.12°, protecting both pump and engine gear-train from resonance wear.
