Application:
The 9520A313G rotary distributor injection pump is calibrated for Perkins 1104D-E44TA and 1104D-E44T electronically controlled turbo-diesel engines (4.4 L, 4-cylinder) that power Massey Ferguson 7724 S Dyna-VT and 7726 S Dyna-VT tractors, Landini Rex 5-120/130/145 T-V ROW-CROP machines, JCB 437S AGRI wheeled loaders and 540-180 Hi-Viz telehandlers, plus FG Wilson P55-6 and Pramac GSW180P enclosed generator sets. These engines deliver 115–150 kW at 2 200 r/min while complying with EU Stage IIIA / EPA Tier 3 emission bands, so the pump provides precisely metered fuel for rapid torque rise, smoke-free acceleration and reliable cold-start performance across heavy-duty agricultural, construction and standby-power applications.

The pump body is a single-piece, close-grain cast-iron monobloc with integral cam ring, distributor head and electronic fuel-stop solenoid boss, centre-line mounting flange to SAE J744 size 2, pilot Ø101.6 mm, four M10 threaded holes on 146 mm PCD. Plunger diameter is 13 mm with 13 mm stroke, generating injection pressures up to 1 900 bar; an internal positive-displacement vane feed pump supplies 260 L/h at 700 kPa. A hydraulic automatic advance piston provides 12° crank-angle advance from 800 to 2 400 r/min. Drive hub accepts 15 mm Woodruff key and is dynamically balanced to ISO 1940 Grade G2.5. Static timing is 8° BTDC ± 1° with ± 3° fine adjustment via eccentric cam ring. Plunger and distributor rotor are machined from vacuum-remelted 20MnCr5 alloy steel, carburised to 1.4 mm effective case depth and super-finished to 0.06 µm Ra for minimal leakage and exceptional durability under cyclic 1 900 bar loading. Cam-ring lobes are induction-hardened to 65–69 HRC, while roller tappets receive a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating that reduces boundary friction by 50 % and extends fatigue life. A lightweight aluminium governor sleeve with PTFE-impregnated bore eliminates stick-slip and maintains idle stability within 0.5 % of set speed. High-pressure steel galleries are laser-welded to prevent internal pressure loss, and the electronic fuel-stop solenoid is encapsulated in a glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide housing rated IP67 for dust and moisture protection. An integral viscous torsional vibration damper limits peak twist to <0.05°, protecting both pump and engine gear-train from resonance wear and noise.
